No one builds an ark alone. And Noah’s Landing is no different. Each week, every day, we rely on the tireless efforts and dedication of a fleet of volunteers. From habitat construction to daily maintenance and landscaping, there’s a place for every person on our farm — from the young to the old and with all degrees of experience. It’s not even a huge commitment—we work with volunteers on the weekly basis, on the daily basis or those that can just  come around when we have a special project.

We’re also happy to arrange group work days for schools, church groups, businesses, clubs or organizations.

Volunteer Programs

Tour Guides

Tour guides lead families and reserved groups around the farm, telling stories, facts and anecdotes to enhance their experience. Training required.

Landscaping

We always need help keeping track of our landscaping, from basic farm maintenance to garden and exhibit planning and planting.

Neonatal Care

Neonatal volunteers assist with the care of our youngest critters. Must be 21 years of age. Training required and previous experience helpful.

Construction

Help us build and repair our habitats! From building tables to constructing pens. Can be done on a consistent basis or a call basis.

Daily Care

With a herd like ours, we rely on dedicated volunteers to assist with daily care such as cleaning and feeding. Can be done on weekends or during the week.

Special Events

Every now and then, we need volunteers to help us staff and prepare for special events on the farm. Commitments usually last about a day and responsibilities might include set-up, clean-up, manning a booth, taking tickets or assisting guests. Let us know if we can call you for help when we arrange these special events!

How to Volunteer

It’s easy! Just send us an e-mail with your area of interest, contact information and your availability (weekly, call basis, a few days each week, weekends). Or, download our volunteer brochure here. We’ll also add you to the volunteer list-serve.
