Feeling the sway of the holiday spirit? You can help bring plenty of holiday cheer to our critters this Christmas season without even leaving your house!
As our friends and volunteers know, winter is the toughest season at Noah's Landing. Our funds dwindle as our programs slow and our costs skyrocket. (Think heating lamps, gas bills, new enclosures for the spring.) Our solution? A winter campaign for the critters!
We're asking our friends and supporters to reach into their pockets to donate $5 this holiday season. Why $5? Our goal is $5,000 and we imagine we might have 1,000 fans in the community. Even better? We hope it's not a burden on your pockets. (Of course, we'll welcome more!)
What will we do with the funds? We'll use them to pay our winter bills to "stay afloat" until we open in the spring. We'll also use them to begin building new enclosures for the spring.

Pepsi Refresh ($50,000)
We're applying for a grant as part of the Pepsi Refresh project to support and expand our classroom programs. If our idea gets the most votes, we'll use the funds to support staff, interns, and outreach supplies to bring our animals into more classrooms. Voting is now open until December 30!

We've also created handy flyers that you can print out (feel free to print in Black and White) and distribute to people, clubs, organizations, churches, and other groups to encourage voting.
In addition, a HUGE thank you to everyone who voted for our "Save the Species" tree in the Triangle Christmas Tree Challenge. We were overjoyed to see so much support from our friends and volunteers!
