Classroom programs
Trained Noah’s Landing guides bring our most “kid tested” animals into the classroom for an interactive, educational lesson. We believe in inquiry-based learning, asking questions to help your students make the connections between our animals and the vocabulary in their textbooks. After introducing each animal, we’ll make sure the class gets an opportunity to “touch” and learn more.

Classroom programs last for approximately one hour. Teachers can book an “Introduction to the Animal Kingdom” or curriculum specific programs. Each of our programs is specifically designed to align with the North Carolina Standard Course of study. To learn about the programs for your students, check out our curriculum guides.

Program Fees:
$200/program. Each additional program on the same day is $150/program.

Community Festivals
Want to bring an exhibit that’s both educational and fun to your next community event? Consider the mobile nature center, an opportunity to bring live animals to your crowds. We’ll bring some of our best critters to your event, setting up a mini nature center with “touch boxes” for kids to touch our smallest critters and trained guides who will hold our larger animals for kids to touch. Each animal is accompanied by an educational signs and larger displays about the biomes put them each in perspective. It’s a great way to learn and have fun at the same time!

Program Fees:
$500/program. Discounts Available for schools.

Consider adding our “Teddy Bear Clinic” where a local veterinarian offers “checkups” to stuffed critters. Additional $100.

Noah's Landing

You can learn a lot of facts from books. Trust us, we know. For years we’ve researched the lives, habits, and peculiarities of animals from across the globe. We’ve found out plenty – from the crazy defense techniques of the fat tail gecko to the vocabulary of a Moluccan cockatoo.

But one of the greatest things we’ve learned is that learning isn’t one-dimensional. The best way to bring a lesson home is to bring it to life. And with the Noah’s Landing mobile nature center, lessons come alive when kids get the chance to see, touch and hear the real thing. (To see available animals, check our traveling animal list.)

You can bring our animals into the classroom for interactive lessons in animal physiology or have us set up a mini nature center at your fall festival. Either way, it’s a rare opportunity to make learning leap off the pages!
